The Statue of Liberty  We Recommend this Venue. See the bottom of this page for date of last visit.

Decorating New York Harbor since 1886, the Statue of Liberty, a gift to the American people from the people of France, is a symbol of the freedom we enjoy here in the United States. Statue of Liberty Visiting the Statue is a wonderful reminder for both young and old of the opportunities and freedoms that exist in this great country, and those of us who live here should always be proud of that fact and take advantage of it as so many immigrants, who have enhanced the fabric of our nation, have already done.

If you like being on the water and are inspired by history, the ride out to Lady Liberty is well worth the trip.
