The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum 
Visit a piece of American History. The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, a decommissioned World Word II aircraft carrier, has been turned into a museum to honor our heroes, educate the public and inspire our youth.
There are plenty of things to do at the Intrepid. There are numerous exhibits, which range from thrilling historical re-creations such as Kamikaze: Day of Darkness, Day of Light, to new interactive displays.
Have you ever dreamed of being a fighter pilot? Visit the Intrepid and ride in the A-6 Cockpit Simulator. You can also visit the Virtual Flight Zone, and tour the inside of the Growler Submarine.
Whether you're into history, military machinery, or you just like cool technology, he Intrepid should definitely be on your must see in New York City list.

Museum Hours Tuesday - Sunday10:00 a.m. to 5:00. p.m. Monday open Nov. 14, Dec. 26, Jan. 16 and Feb. 20 only. All other Mondays, closed. Thanksgiving - November 24 - Closed. Christmas Day - December 25 - Closed.
