Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots is an outrageously fun musical with a score and book masterly crafty by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein respectively.

It's the story of a young man, Charlie Price, who inherits a shoe company that's on the verge of bankruptcy. With the help of Lola and her troop of colorful characters, he turns the shoe company around by manufacturing a line of Kinky boots.

The show is entertaining and fresh, with a terrific cast. The staging is beautifully done and the choreography will make you want to join in on the fun. The closing number is particularly good and you'll leave the theatre smiling. I recommend this 2013 Tony award winning musical.
