...More about MoMA  We Recommend this Venue. Look to the left for date of last visit.

If you want a preview of The Collection before you visit, you can browse through the online gallery on MoMA’s website. The Collection includes works in architecture and design, drawings, film, media, paintings and sculptures, photography, prints and illustrated books.

MoMA’s exhibitions are constantly changing and some even tour the country, so every time you visit the museum there are new things to see.

If hunger strikes, you won’t have to skip out on the exhibits – MoMA has several dining options to choose from. Café 2, Terrace 5 and The Modern offer first-class menus from critically acclaimed chefs. The New York Times recently awarded The Modern three stars.

To make the most of your visit, take advantage of MoMA Audio. There are six audio programs geared toward different audiences, including kids, teens, adults and academics. With these audio programs, you can play them onsite at the museum, download them as MP3 files and transfer them to your iPod, or subscribe to the podcast with automatic updates.

Next time you’re in New York City, plan to experience the world of contemporary art at a first-class museum and educational institution, The Museum of Modern Art.
